Tues: We had Wendy's for lunch ($18). DD & DH ate the rest of theirs for dinner and I made a quesidilla from left overs.

Wed: Ham steaks with mac & cheese, corn and the last of the sister schuert's rolls in the fridge. YAY! No spending today.

Thurs: Hey wait that's today! Dinner tonight was via the local Chinese restaurant..$19. I also stopped by HT to pick up some groceries.

The title says it all. Today is day 2 of working from home as the road is too yucky to get out on in the AM. Its fine by mid day, but 6am is a no go. Our homeowners associate sent this guy out with a truck that had a plow on the front. He scrapped the top layer and threw out some salt. That's it. I wonder if I shovel the road if they will reduce my next payment? Probably not, I am sure they will charge me for the exercise I got from the shoveling.

Anyhow, on to my spending....

So it really did snow. Seriously, I can't believe it. I need to find some snowman gear and begin to build an army...I can just imagine myself and a snowman army walking down the road. What a sight we'd be.

Anyhow, with the threat of snow, I went grocery shopping Thursday & yesterday.

So last night chicken and dumplings were served. I even had a can of biscuits and the chicken broth to make it. Whew!

Since I got $$ yesterday for the new grocery budget, I dropped by the grocery store and got sodas for DH. Sometimes I can barely believe the price of sodas. $4.71 later and I was done.

I went by CVS today too for the Pepsi deal. Spent $12.38 after ecb, but half the stuff is for my sis who is going to give me $5 and I have a rebate for $7.50 I can...

So last night was a hamburger helper meal. Whew. DH was trying to get me to make taco burgers and I kept explaining that we didn't have all the ingredients to make that (plus I'd have to go out & spend $$). Not to mention he had gone out earlier, got bread and didn't get the extras (there when the last $2). Oh well, payday is soon and I'll have money again for groceries (tomorrow I think).
