Hey there! Although I am not new to HCW, I just haven't gotten the guts to post much. This is quite funny since I am rather boisterous and sometimes rowdy in real life. Just to give you some background on myself, I am newly married and live in Philadelphia, PA. I learned some couponing from my watching my Mom back in the 80s but most is self taught. It wasn't until I found HCW that I REALLY saw how to make the most of the coupons, so thank you all . I am not sure where this blogging will go but I figured I would start here.

Gotta love CVS!

Finally a new deal to report...A few HCWers reported that the Pepsi coupon, in the Acme ad for this past week, was indeed a manufacturers coupon. I usually don't pay attention to these coupons unless they really benefit me, hence I have never looked to see if they were just a store coupon or not. Let's just say I learned my lesson
Onto the CVS deal...

Three 12 packs of Pepsi
Three bags of Tostitos
One Gatorade

Price $3.25 using the $5 Pepsi coupon and $12 ECB but got back $10

I am sure I could have worked it more but it's a start

Hey, I think you did great! Going for 0 OOP is fun, but if you're buying things you would have bought anyway (for me, definitely yes on the soda) then anything 75% off or more is FANTASTIC in my book. I did that pepsi deal too, and now I'm trying to plan what to do with my 10 ecbs. Maybe a fusion razor and two gilette shampoos, I think that would be $10 and I would get 10 back.
    Razor: $9 - $4 coupon= $5
    Shampoos $5 x 2 - 2 $2 coupons = $6
I would only have $1 out of pocket after the 10 ecb and would get 8 ebcs back, I think. Not too shabby, again, for stuff I need anyway!
