Journaling to keep track of my new experience with coupons.
Hard Work

Wow...I am so tired. I took today off of work and planned a trip to shop. The first part of the day I organized my coupons and now have bunches to enter into my Have List. :)
I started at Walgreens but they still didn't have the Oral B toothbrushes in. BUT...I have the best Walgreens EVAR. lol The lady there offered to write me a rain check, which is great but wouldn't have gotten me the RR. I mentioned this to her and she rang up a RR for the $5.50 so that I still get it and then when the OB come in I can still get them. How freaking awesome is that? She totally did NOT have to do that (in fact I don't think they do it normally). So I was pretty happy.
And I found juice on clearance for $0.25 each (reg. $0.99).
Then on to Rite Aid where I got a few deals.
Glade Scented Oil candles are $3 SCR and I had a printed coupon for $3 so I'll end up paying $0.99 total for it.
I had a coupon for BOGO a Pledge product. And their Pledge items were on sale. Plus I had a coupon for $1 off. So I got Pledge Lemon spray and Pledge Wipes for $1.99.
I bought three John Frieda items, two of which had special bonuses. For buying 3 I get $5 SCR and I had a $1 coupon for each of them. Each one was originally $5.99 and I'll end up paying around $3.32 for each one.
With all my coupons I saved $14.49 plus another $7 on SCR.
Target was a whole new ball of wax for me. I spent so much time in there! I used 4 of the Target coupons for $5 off 3 items bought. I got several boxes of bandaids, Johnsons baby lotion, and neosporin. With all my coupons I saved $41.85!!!! In four transactions I paid $30.12 and got way over $100 in items.
So much fun! Of course I'm completely exhausted and will never need bandaids again in my life. LOL
