I went to Rite Aid this morning. I made a list and should have checked it twice, but overall I did really great. I'm SO excited and look forward to turning in my rebate online at the end of the month.
My only issue is that I thought the Sami i style haircare product because I thought it was a rebate item but I am lame...it's only on rebate from 6/1 to 6/3 only. :hectic1:Dang it! So I'm actually going to return it. I hope that is okay!!!
On the other hand the rest of my bill was so fun!!!
TWO FREE Head & Shoulders - On sale 2 / $8 with a $4 rebate and I had a buy one get one free, which means $4 is taken off my bill.
FREE Aquafresh + $1 - I cannot believe I got toothpaste for free and paid $1 to buy it. I'm in awe. It is regularly $3.99, on sale for $2.49 and fully rebated for $2.49 and I had a $1 coupon. WOOHOO!!!
FREE Pantene - I had to ask where this product was because there was none on the shelves. It had just gotten in because it's a new product so they had to dig it out of the box. I only got the shampoo because you can only get one on rebate. Price on sale $3 minus $1.50 rebate minus $1.50 coupon.
2 Gillette Deodorants $4 - This is better than the deodorants I got at Walgreens. They are regular $4.49 at RA, on sale 2/$7 with $2 rebate and I had a $1 coupon on two. Total ends up $2 each, a savings of $4.98.
Secret Flawless Deodorant $0.99 - I'm trying to break away from the brands I'm used to. This is a new deodorant regular price $4.99 on sale for $3.99 with a rebate of $2 and I had a coupon for $1 off one.
On Sale No Rebate - I also got three Dawn soap for the kitchen for less than I got at WG the other day - 3 for $0.64 each ($0.89 on sale with $0.25 coupons). And because we go through Kleenex so fast I bought two more since it was buy one get one free at $2.29 for one.
So once I return the i Style and get my rebate back I will only be out of pocket $10.66 for $31.90 worth of product.
A total savings of $21.24 for less than 30 minutes of work.
I am so going back to Rite Aid.

I was SOOOOOOO nervous! I have literally never even stepped foot into this RA (and only been to any RA once or twice ever in my life) and I am so scared of new things. LOL Not knowing where I was going I started to feel my face heat up and I was getting really warm. But I survived and feel great!!! =DPosted 06-05-2008 at 01:56:00 PM by castocreations

lol thats exactly how i felt when i started cvs! But for me i only heard what my sister said who lives out of state about cvs..so i made a lot of mistakes. HCW is great for answering every question i had and if i ran into any problems to how to fix them. I don't feel that way anymore when i go into the store!
that feeling comes back when i go into a new store :)Posted 06-05-2008 at 02:06:08 PM by lifeskills13
