5 Years Ago Today...

My life was forever changed. I looked into the eyes of the most beautiful sight I'd ever seen. And my breathe was taken away, my heart was filled with joy and tears of happiness flowed down my face. I was simply overwhelmed.
Five years ago today my daughter, my oldest child, was born. I became a mother and experienced what it meant to be truly blessed. It's hard to believe that in what seems to be a blink of an eye, my baby is now a sweet and silly girl. Who knows how to make me laugh and smile even when I don't want to.
On my way to work this morning I heard this Rascal Flatts song and it was just so perfect for today
But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small
You never need to carry more than you can hold
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too
