February Grocery Totals

Grocery Spending totals for February 2008:
Total oop: $387.94
Total savings: $599.26
61% saved
Actual dollars spent increased by $45.06 and the savings decreased by $13.54 compared to January. I was hoping to get closer to our goal of $300 a month instead of farther away from it since February was our first full month on the budget. I love couponing, but seeing the holes developing in my stockpile (or lack thereof) and the increase in Feb. spending, I'm feeling very frustrated with my results right now.

| | Hi Katrina! Our grocery budget includes food, baby items (diapers, wipes, baby food), pet items, cleaning, paper products and some hba stuff. The majority of my HBA stuff I get from doing deals at CVS and WAG. And I do those deals using my blow/allowance money, so those totals are not included with the grocery totals. If you were to factor in the drug store deals, it would probably add another $20-$30 to the amount spent, although I've cut back my CVS and WAG shopping - just not enough time these days. |
