Happy to have you here...not sure what you are looking for but what you see is what you get. Heck, I have no idea what I could even blog about that anyone would find interesting but there are lots of things folks watch, read, and listen too that aren't really interesting so what have I got to lose?!?
As for introductions, I am BzyBee and my whole clan is around here somewhere. DH and two kiddos...rapidly turning into real people from the children they used to be.
We coupon and bargain hunt, the kids go to school, DH and I putter around with projects around the house, I work from home, we are debt free except our house, we enjoy our quiet life and family time.
There will be more to come on the above subjects..and probably others. Interesting?? I'll report....you decide.

Friends and far away places...

We have moved 6 times over 16 years and while that sounds like a lot the average is decreasing as the years go by. That is a good thing. In each place that we have lived we have developed friendships, but they don't all last, we know they won't. As well as you get to know some folks you just know they won't be friends for life..KWIM?? But the others, the few you know that every time you call it will be like home again, they are the ones I miss over the years and the miles.
Perhaps age is making me nostalgic. I was thinking about my 20th high school reunion and how it really didn't seem too important to me. The kind of reunion I would like would be made up of friends made over a lifetime, Not just faces from a yearbook, most of whom I was never friends with anyway.
What are the chances of collecting people from multiple states, all at the same time and same place for such a reunion? Slim, I think. I am somehow feeling 'homesick', but there is no one place to go home to. I guess it is time to write a few letters, make a few phone calls.
