All Good Thing Must Come To An End

Well, the Walgreens Olay & Herbal Essences deals are officially over for me 
I actually thought my earlier post would be my final one concerning these deals, but when my wonderful DH came home from work, we headed out for one last round! 
Out of the dozen plus Walgreens I've been to over the course of the week, I finally ran into my first store that I would like to label "one of those stores" to which I will not return with my business. This was the Melrose, MA store BTW incase anyone else considers going there.
It's funny actually. It was the first store I've come across that would not let me use more than (1) RR on an order. So I told them I would just take my business to another one of the dozen Walgreens I had already been to and to void the order lol. They lost out on a $35+ sale and I was able to get what I needed at the next 3 stores without even a blink of the eye from any cashier. The kicker! A couple stores later I struck up a conversation with the cashier, while she proceeded to ring my (3) transactions, about the problem store and them not accepting my 2 RRs. She told me that is the normal store she works at and is only at this one on weekends. And she said I'm not the first person who has had a problem at that store concerning RRs. Someone had them void a $70 sale last week because of a similar problem. That store must really not like to sell anything
Anyway, 8 transactions later we were done with the deals and came home.
So for the entire duration of this week, which was my first week shopping at Walgreens, I walked away with:

(5) packages of Walgreens plastic cups 16 oz. 40-ct.

(3) $10 Darden Restaurants gift cards

FINAL GRAND TOTAL OOP = $30.81
Less than my RRs! I can't believe how much stuff I got for so little, with $36 of it being RRs and $55 being gift cards! I never understood how anyone made much profit off Walgreens deals, but I do now. I used to shop CVS only, but now that I've finally mastered how the Walgreens RR deals work, I think I'll be visiting there a lot more often
