Whew, a whirlwind trip, that only ended because we had a very tired 4 year old on our hands, lol. He was a trooper, helping Mom and Dad search for sale items in a new grocery store that we drove almost an hour to get to. The reason you ask? Super-doublers! We wanted to see if it was worth it to go the Giant that offers these every day, and as you will see I think it was!...

Two shopping stops, 3 transactions, and over all felt ok; not a perfect shopping day....made a few rookie mistakes, but I learned from them, and that is progress, right? Also, today I got a check in the mail from a paid-to-click site that I have been doing for a long time- the check was for $28.98, which I am adding to the food budget since we are planning an out of town trip this week.

Met a wonderful cashier at a different CVS- she got so excited when she saw I was putting together deals that she walked through the store with me and helped me find them, lol. She was great- and a huge help! She pointed out that one of the sale items wasn't ringing up correctly, but another item that wasn't marked was working for the deal. She was awesome! Here was my haul:

Quick CVS run since I didn't have much time; wanted razors, and of course my store had none left! I also looked for toothbrushes, but it looks like my store doesn't carry the kind that is in the monthly deal. I did manage some more free toothpaste.....cuz 12 tubes in the cabinet just aren't enough!

Total oop: $0.45; used 13 ecbs, got back 14.95 ecbs
