Who turned on the lights?

Forget debt. Wow, didn't see this one coming (but, I should have).
$300 Electric bill this month!
$100 Water bill
Everything else was fine. But, $400 when I expected about $200-$250 for both.
Forget debt. Turn off the lights!
On a side note. I found that if I turned the computer off at night I saved $12 a month. Took about 3 months of "experimenting".
No money to get coupons, pay for debt, or take kids bowling this month.
Ugh, oh well.
Guess what I have gotten at Winn-Dixie.
BREAD!
I spent (last paycheck, before I got my 2 big bills), 20 Sara Lee coupons. Shipped for $14.
I thought .71 (.01 tax) was a good amount to pay for the bread we like to have.
Then, Winn-Dixie went BOGO.
So we (with tax) are paying .39 a loaf of bread!
Plus, we have 40 loaves of bread in the freezer to have around when I forget to go to the store and pick it up!

 | LoL @ the BREAD...:hysterical:..I have my freezer stuffed with SAra Lee Bread & hotdog buns!!! (could those coupons be used for the dinner rolls too?) My lights were unreal last month, so worked hard trying to reduce them for this bill...we'll see..... |

| |  Sorry about the bill. That really sucks! My power company just went up 18 % ugh.... I have well water (yucky) but at least I don't have a water bill. On to the bread. Thats GREAT!!! Lucky You. I got 1 of the coupons from a trade but can't find a freakin store around here that sells it. Wish I could I would have tried to get more, oh well. |
