No money for groceries this week.

Ugh! So dumb me didn't plan for the 4th of July. I didn't budget money for fireworks. And I really want my kids to experience traditions. So I spent $25 on fireworks at Kroger. And we had family over. They all wanted to go to the movies. I didn't want to tell them we didn't budget for that either. So there went $24.00 (2 adults and 2 kids, littlest 2 were free.) No, I don't have free movie tickets when you buy Hershey stuff. The movie theater that accepts them is about an hour away.
Before it dawned on me, I bought a gallon of milk, produce, and more grocieries. Also, babyfood ($15 of baby food), it's enough baby food to last us until she is out of it, or at least close to it. But, still that total came up to $50 ($15 was for baby food.) So there went $100 in groceries that I budget a week.
Good thing I have a stockpile to feed us. Whew. I also have a Kroger OYNO to buy some peanut butter.
Yes I know $100 seems high. We usually do not use that much. But, weeks like this one. Ugh! We usually just use what is left over to eat out with that week. So I don't get the "best" deal, or the least amount oop. But, we were at $100 a week for just 2 of us only for food. We have added 4 more mouths. And I would say that our selection is better. Now my $100 also includes HBA, food, and diapers/wipes.
Anybody else use ALL of their grocery money for the week. The first day of the week?
