$2000 to Student loans, I want the money back.

Posted 05-08-2008 at 04:17:07 AM by BigDog

What happened? Where did I get that much money? Well, like I said before. My in-laws were going to pay for the hotel. They actually did give us the money via check. Now, that was $400. We got also the Stimulus rebate amount for $2400. So we were going to put it to our back door to fix our leak. But, we are having a fit to get the guy we hired in January to fix our sprinkers. He keeps giving us the run around. We had already scheduled $300 to go to student loans this time. Believe me we are feeling a pinched at this point.

And we decided to homeschool. We need $800 for the Sonlight curriculum Core K. I've heard so many great things about this curriculum. But, there is a homeschooling curriculum fair in about a month at the fair grounds. They are going to have a booth there, and other vendors. I might go check that out to see if I can get it cheaper. But, if not this is what I need to have it shipped here.

So let's take that above money.
$3100
-$800 Homeschool curriculum
-$2000 Student loans
-$240 donating
-$40 shoes and clothing for kids
-$20 Blanket material for DD#2

$208 "Whine-mobile"
$2000 Student Loan
--------------------
$2208 to Debt!

$14,178.51 "Whine-mobile"
$7,479.55 Student loans
--------------------------
$21,657.06

When is half way to Valentines? I don't know. But, I don't think we are going to make it. I really wanted to spend that money. But, DH and I on a whim last night decided the money was starting to burn a hole in our pocket. And we got online and "threw the money away".:frown: Student loans will be gone sooner. But, that hurt.:hectic1:
