| | | | Absolutely had a great holiday weekend! Got some great bargains, especially now that I am looking for certain pieces of clothing for my trip to Italy next month. I visited family I had not seen in years and enjoyed the lovely weather we had. The temperature was unusually warm for this time of the year, to the extent that our beaches were packed, especially on Monday! I wonder if this is any indication of what's in store for the winter! Anyhoo, started decorating my home with fall/halloween stuff.... | | | Comments 2
| | | Autumn is my favorite season. As a child I remember anticipating the new school season with trepidation, because of the uncertainty of meeting new teachers' expectations, harder assignments, and just plain learning to be more grown-up. I'm kinda hard on myself, in that things have to be, not perfect, but very, very good. However, as the days progressed, and became shorter, and cooler, and with the advent of the fall foliage, I loved waking up and meeting each day, head-on. I would inspect... | | | Comments 0
| | | I was a wee bit disappointed in that with triples going on at one of the grocery stores I visit, I did not have too many coupons to really benefit from it. She had her little daughter, whom I adore, with her, so our evening was filled with playing games, making Halloween deocorations, (she taped things over over her mom's office), and ended with having Japanese for dinner. Saturday was a crazy day, so much going on, visits to the mall, street festivals, in my neighborhood, there was an Irish Festival going on, and just... | | | Comments 0
| | | It is now 6.45 am, I'm in the office and feel like I missed out on a party. At least that's the way I feel because I bearly made it home last night to cook a fast meal (basically reheated food) and started watching the new episodes of "My Name is Earl", "The Office", and "ER". Fell asleep through all of them. Even my SO fell asleep. And he never sleeps this early! Usually he would tape any episodes I miss. He didn't even set the VCR. So now I will ask my friends... | | | Comments 0
