It happen again!

This past Sunday I went to several CVS', with my envelopes full of coupons for Pert Shampoo and Degree Deodorant, amoung other things. At the last CVS, I gave the cashier 8 coupons for Pert, a raincheck for Soliel razor, the $3 coupon for the razor, and I can't remember the others. Anyhoo, when I am half way home, I am thinking about what I paid and something didn't seem right, My calculations were off by several dollars, in their favor. At a stop light I checked the receipt, and sure enough, there was one $2 dollar coupon not accounted for. I was so bothered and angry at myself for not having checked it out while still in the store, like I normally do. But there was only one cashier, a long line of customers, it was hot in the store, I was dead tired, this was the fourth store I had visited, and it was so very muggy outside, I couldn't wait to get home. Besides, I thought to myself, it would be my word against the cashier as to how many coups I gave her. So, from now on, I promised myself to be more diligent on checking the receipt before leaving the store. Especially on those great deals involving high value coupons. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I worked hard in getting all these coupons. I could just kick myself.

| | Ugh, I hate it when I do that! I get too nervous at the register and tend to not pay attention if she rings everything up, etc. I've done it quiet a bit, always hate myself afterward! |
