Busy with work, AC trip, apt. flooded and Hot dogs

I've been so so busy at work, I hardly have time to even read the forums. But work is good. One of the aspects of my job is I'm in the field alot, I travel statewide, and other states, stay for about a week and repeat about a month later. My last field work took me near Atlantic City. Let me tell you, no one would believe the economy is as bad as is stated, gazing upon all these people playing the slots and card tables!
As for me, several nights I walked the boardwalk to stretch my legs (I'm sitting all day long during the audits), ate at nice restaurants, then it's off to bed. I would peek at the casinos before retiring, seems no one sleeps, and rejoiced when someone won. There were bus loads of seniors, everywhere! I don't play but the hotels are beautiful!
The week after that my apartment got flooded.
The hot water shut-off valve burst. I have never experienced anything like this. It's over two weeks but I am still dealing with the aftermath, since I just can't take time off to deal with everything, so I do a little every day. I'm the type of person that I try to turn a negative into a positve, and this was no exception. I have thrown away pieces of furniture, area rugs, books, magazines, paper and stuff in general, donated about ten bags of clothes, rearranged furniture, (more space now), ripped out the rug in my bedroom, and am doing a nice spring cleaning while I'm at it! I'm so pleased with the results so far, that the incident of the flood does not bother me anymore. I'm just grateful I was home, so that it did not turn into a disaster, like the water running down the apartments below me. (Think, insurance claims?)
And now, on with my favorite part of the subject!
My family loves hot dogs and we only eat Hebrew National. One of the few items we are brand loyal. My Shoprite store has them on sale for $2.49, regular price $4.99. I have lots of the .75 off q's, and Shoprite doubles.
This coming week, Hebrew National hot dogs, are again on sale for $2.49, and I still have a pack of q's, so more dogs for the freezer! The store will only double 4 q's so I have to make several transactions and make mutiple trips. I'm fine with that, I have other stores in the strip mall I visit and it's minutes from home. By the time I'm finished buying I should have enough for the rest of the year. And I'm happy with that!
