I lost my 3 inch binder, zip around folder packed full of all my coupons because for once im pretty updated, I lost it a few nights ago at Super Kmart in Indianapolis. SO now i am going to be creating a new folder and Iwill be sure to blog along the way the steps im taking.. first step, get over the the fact my trusty one with all my coupons is gone and not coming back....

Oct 17th..
Tomorrow im off to buy everything to create a new folder, will spend tomorrow night getting my new folder ready for SUnday insert coupons.

Todays thoughts:
*still upset noone has seen it..
*need to stop by cvs on the way to get my son from school to pick up printer paper, im out and i need to print out as many coupons as i can get me thru the next few weeks while i start building up coupons again.
*I posted in the Kmart forum about my missing folder incase someone found it, I have had people private msg me asking if they can send me some couposn, GOSH i love HCW.. great people that let you know some people do know what it means to loose a folder and feel my pain. I am being as positive as I can and trying to look at the good of loosing my folder.

I use to always worry that my childrens drinks would get hot sitting out in the sun at the park, well now thermos sells sippy cups!! how cool is that!! Now you know the drinks stay nice and cold for that trip to the park... got to love that!! they are calling them FOOGO ... you can check them at their home page, they recommend them for 6months and up, if you have a young these are great for keeping drinks at their right temp. My children now use the straw bottles as they are now 3 and 5, but I wish we had the sippy cup ones when they were babies.. check them out at thermos website. Though I do find them a little costly, however my kids straw bottles have lasted them plenty of play times and still dont leak and they come in different cartoons so they are still "cool" to my kiddies. You can always find me on the "Gimme My Money Back" section of HCW, or you can msg me. :smile: I am now mainly doing my shopping at Krogers, Marsh, Walmart, Kmart, Target and of course CVS.. I couldn't live with out my cvs. While searching for a new home here in IN, I would have to map how far the nearest cvs was from me to make sure I would not have to loose that store off my list of places to shop at. :hysterical: Thankfully the home I bought has a cvs 10minutes away. I have to get use to the coupon policy changes. Do your home work! I would say 80% of couponing is home work. Organization of coupons, preparing your shopping list in advance.

Cashiers are always better as friends than enemies.

Share your tips and finds with others, it will come back to you.

Don't impulse buy, go to the store with a plan, get your deal and then get out! Focus.

Keep organized! You don't want everyone having to wait in line behind you while you try and find your lost coupons.

Don't wear out your welcome, Limit yourself on going to the same store so many times a week, they might get sick of seeing you and your coupons.

Normaly once a manager has made up their mind on a subject, arguing will not change their minds, call corporate instead.

Get a coupon buddy! Couponing is more fun when you have a buddy to do it with!

Just because you have a coupon for it, doesn't mean you should buy it.

Know what a true sale is and not a sale leading up to a sale, know your sale prices!

When all else fails and the store is just not coupon friendly... pay in pennies. HTH

I love using the binder method of sorting my coupons. I use to do the container method, with deviders, a container that was about the size of a shoe box, but after having my children knock it over a million times and having my coupons go every where when they did I decided it was time to go to the binder method, been doing the binder method about 2 years now. I love that it has a zip up all away around, stops thing from falling out, also has a zip up inside pocket to store my cash, pens, paperclips and odd bits. I would love it if they came out iwth 4-5inch binders though :hysterical:.

Coupons use to be some thing that only mothers would do to save a few dollars at the grocery store. Today, couponing has become a way of life for men and woman all over the country. People are saving hundreds a month, thousands a year with this learned skill and we are offering to teach you these skills to not only save you money but to keep your pantry full and be able to help others around you!

This class is for those that want to brush up on their coupon clipping skills, learn new skills or for those that are for the first time being introduced to coupons. Coupons are more than just a piece of paper; they are as good as money in your pocket! By the end of these classes we hope to give you the knowledge to be able to cut your grocery bill in half.

There are many aspects of couponing that can’t be learned in one hour, however with our two one-hour classes we hope to give you the basic knowledge to get you on your way!
