I'm finally over the ECBs I let expire earlier this month (took me a while to let go of the bitterness), and I'm back in the swing of CVS'ing.

Today (in several trips) in got:
3 packs diapers
2 advil PM
2 Advil Cold
1 Robitussin
10 gatorade
2 Garnier wipes
1 chocolate bar
1 tictac
1 stayfree

I spent $21 cash plus another $18 on a giftcard, but have over 15 ECBs left to spend. If I'm able to find everything...

I give up! Final tally:

• 58 tubs of wipes
• 3 trial size wipes
• 1 Mega pack wipes
• 1 box disposable washcloths
• 2 Jumbo pack diapers

Total (including cost of purchasing coupons): 29.59, give or take a few cents. It's not the almost-zero amounts a lot of people got, but I'm pretty darn pleased - it's less than .4 cents/wipe, whereas my previous buy price was 1 cent/wipe.

I have about 40 coupons left, but I am worn out - and the Targets near here are cleared out. Now I just have...

After taking the
holidays pretty much off of couponing, I was so excited today to see that there is a stockpile-worthy deal on baby wipes! We are literally on our last tub, so I'm excited about stocking up.

Today I only added 2 wipes to the stockpile. I had one set of the huggies wipes/bath & body coupons, and my target was completely out of the tubs and travel size. I went to the target a little father up the freeway, and they had plenty... Only my coupons were nowhere...

One of my New Year's Resolutions this year (actually the first time in several years that I've bothered) is to start stockpiling for real. Another is to lose 100 pounds (yeah, a one with two zeros after it - doctor's orders ).

In order for me to be successful at goal #2, I'm going to have to be vigilant about not stockpiling foods I shouldn't eat, and if I do buy stuff I shouldn't eat because they get me the deal, they need to depart my house in a hurry.
