I did great with my SSM purchases, and blew it with my non-SSM stuff.
Savings Marathon:
5 kleenex: 5*1.50 - 1*.50 doubled - 4*.50 = 3
14 windex: 7*3.99(BOGO) - 14*.75 = 17.43
3 always 31 count: 3*5.89
3 always 24 count 3*5.89 - 3*6.99 (this is how the BOGO Q's automatically rang in - cashier didn't know how to fix) = 14.37 for all 6
received $10 cat, got $10 cash at CS to correct that. Also received 7*1.50= 10.50 in windex cats
total spent: 36.30 - $10 cash back = 26.30
- $10 cat - 7*1.50 cats = 5.80
other stuff:
2 sprite 2 liters (forgot Qs
): 2*1.89 = 3.78
sobe lifewater: 1.00 - .50 doubled = 0
nesquick choc milk (couldn't find Q fast enough): 1.67
Feta Cheese: 5.99 - no Q but "satisfaction guaranteed" MIR on package = 5.99 (for now)
total other stuff: 13.16
total all together:49.46 - extra .50 off (maybe he scanned too many kleenex Qs?) = 48.96
used $20 SSM cat and $1.50 windex cat (counted as payment, since I take credit for the cat when I receive it - no doubling counting!)
total value 83.21
total paid 48.96 - 30.50 in cash back/cats = 18.46
-5.99 MIR = 12.47
savings: 70.74, or 85%
