So, I have been acquiring several freebie qs from the manu. but not using them because I forget:hectic1: I decided to use them up and get rid of them (this was yesterday)
I get my stuff, go to checkout and hand her my freebies and others and when she gets to the frees she says "Oh, aren't you slick?" I'm like "what do you mean?" she says "you can't just print a coupon for anything you want" (they were mostly P&G product qs--I had a VERY rude CS rep. when I called so they appologized with frees
) I said, "ummm, I don't know what you're talking about these are from the company" I showed her the saftey marks and the wording, etc. she says "well, I am NOT THAT dumb." and walks off to get a manager
She comes back and goes, "she is trying to use fake coupons" I explained to the manager what I had told her...the manager islike, "we don't see these often, but they are legit...I don't know how they do it, but run it through" and walked off the cashier then says "I don't know why you people think the world is at your disposal and you can get what you want for free"
WHAT????????????? I know how to shop that's all.
I smiled and payed my TAX told her to have a great day and left.
Seriously, that was very rude and uncalled for! So, what coupons are fake ifthey get you something free??? Better tell P&G to stop sending out those fake qs

How rude! Seriously, how have they not seen a free product q? Companies (especially Kashi) send them out all the time.
I'm guessing this was Wal-Mart

Report the manager and cashier to the store manager and if that doesn't meet your satisfaction, call the company's customer service. Sorry you had to deal with that but at least you left with your dignity in tact.

I would have had a serious complaint for the manager. i would have went back and told him how rude she was and that there is no excuse for her behavior. She bascially works there to assist you in your purchases not to be rude. screw her.Posted 01-18-2009 at 09:32:18 PM by loladooder99 -

Since I started couponing, its pretty amazing at how many cashiers truly take their job title seriously. Meaning, that if they don't like the fact that I'm getting a really good deal on an item, they huff and puff through the rest of my order. What they don't realize is that if it weren't for people like us, they wouldn't have a job in the first place. No offense but they should be kissin' tail :)
