New Year, New Hopes, New Start...

I am a long time couponer now but often have to go in and out of it all. I'm not very organized and often let great coupons that I traded for expire and rebates go unsent and past the deadline therefore missing them and losing out on money. I also have let many ECBs expire (by accident) and my stores don't take them expired. So I saw someone else's blog and I just thought it would be good for me at least to motivate myself even if no one else reads it. I'm not a good writer so I wouldn't ever be able to blog but I hope this at least keeps me somewhat accountable.
First, I'd just like to save more money this year then I did last year, and I don't think it will be too hard to exceed last year. I estimated I only save about 20% from using cpns.
I stopped into Kmart one week too late, missed the additional 40% off winter clothing sale, but I did find 2 items on clearance:
24 month Santa dress $1.99
NB 3 piece winter boys outfit $1.99 (gift)
With that, I can return the NB boys outfit I bought at Target for $4.24. And I signed up for the card program.
