Get moving!

Today has started out slowly.
The kids and I slept in (we all are night owls) and now we've had our breakfast and are figuring out our day.
The ads came early today so I've been browsing them. There's not really anything from last week that we need so I don't even have to shop today, tho there are some good deals coming up.
We need to get some limbs out of the yard, we have a massive pecan tree that keeps losing limbs, and they are BIG limbs, so it will take all three of us to move them over the fence. The last ones that fell, had they fallen any closer to the house, would have landed ON the house.
So I'll turn moving the limbs into a lesson about levers. That's the beauty of homeschooling, I'm learning, that anything can be a lesson if we approach it with a learning frame of mind.
The other day, we went to Sam's with a pass, and we compared prices on bulk items vs. coupon shopping. Then we talked about how people save money and sampled a bunch of things and had a grand ole' time. I considered it a (field trip) lesson on consumer economics.
