I hate fire ants

Well, I went outside today to cut some limbs off what is left in the yard and stuck my feet in a fire ant hill that was underneath. All of a sudden, I looked down and my feet were covered with about 200 swarming, nasty little ants. I hate them so! OMG! I had never seen a fire ant till we moved here and if we ever move away, I will have lingering nightmares about them for years! I seem to be the only member of the family with a sensitivity to them.

I am throwing in the towel tomorrow and buying a pair of sneakers and getting rid of my sandals. I love sandals and haven't worn much else for years so this is sad for me.
