Well, I went outside today to cut some limbs off what is left in the yard and stuck my feet in a fire ant hill that was underneath. All of a sudden, I looked down and my feet were covered with about 200 swarming, nasty little ants. I hate them so! OMG! I had never seen a fire ant till we moved here and if we ever move away, I will have lingering nightmares about them for years! I seem to be the only member of the family with a sensitivity to them.

I am throwing in the towel tomorrow...

Today has started out slowly.
The kids and I slept in (we all are night owls) and now we've had our breakfast and are figuring out our day.

The ads came early today so I've been browsing them. There's not really anything from last week that we need so I don't even have to shop today, tho there are some good deals coming up.

We need to get some limbs out of the yard, we have a massive pecan tree that keeps losing limbs, and they are BIG limbs, so it will take all...

But I've wished HCW had a blog section before. I tried to do a PSJ but I didn't do well with it and just wanted a place to put random thoughts instead of a savings chronicle.

Today is Sunday, the boys are playing, I'm cleaning house, listening to music, doing laundry, precooking pancakes for freezing, and pondering the world's mysteries, and the DH is in bed, pretending to be sick (while I am out here, pretending not to notice ).

Life is good.
