Not too awfully much to report today.

Septic digging continues today - the hole is much much much bigger now - materials for the leachfield arrived so I'm sure it'll continue tomorrow.

The excavator/bulldozer man was working at getting more of the yard dug down to the proper grade and now I have huge piles of sand everywhere, which my kids are loving!!

The way that I get my coupons are by taking on a newspaper route. I have a few extra papers on Saturday ( our town has no Sunday paper) and take coupons out of them. They also throw out the extra in the dumpster when they are done so I can get them from there.

Another way I get them is when I am on my routes I check my customers recycle bins and find them not just from our towns paper but the Des Moines paper.

Yesterday was my first attempt at the Savings Marathon. I did ok - the main thing for me right now is that I only got things I really needed - I'm out of extra space in my tiny pantry, and it's 100 degrees in my garage so I can't store much right now.

It is great that all these women are saving money at Kroger and other stores with double couponing! I would like to get together with other women shopping a HEB to discuss deal strategies with coupons. I am new to Texas and it seems HEB is the only grocery store in this area. Thank you!

***Ok, i changed the amount, just a tad, i think i might have set my goal way to high. Im sure I could have done it, but with me running a daycare 7 days a week. It's hard for me to find much time to sit down and sell stuff and do surveys.
