Let's be honest. In Michigan, there ARE no jobs. I've been unemployed for a year since I quit working for a misogynistic bastage and a DM who didn't give a fart about my complaints. I've looked for the occasional work, started up my Etsy shop again ( for those inclined to look), and kept trying to think of ways to save money.

We're putting in a garden this year, and hopefully that will cut down on our food costs -- we can use a lot of the veggies we'll be growing to make our own...

I couldn't find a copy of the Detroit Free Press, so I picked up a copy of the Adrian paper instead. I'm starting at ground zero here with coupons, so I was pretty sure I wouldn't end up saving thirty bucks right away. I found a few good coupons and went snipping away in the car while we headed to the actual store we do our shopping...

Hi everyone, I am a new member and I wanted to find out where you all get some great coupons and free stuff. I have always been one to save money where I can and now with gas prices I am trying even harder. I hear you all talking about getting travel size items for free or next to nothing as well, Where do you get those coupons for the smaller items.

So we went to the beach all of last week. Let me tell you, travelling with a toddler and an infant is no fun task. I spent 2 months getting ready for this "vacation" and it actually ended up being more work than if I had just stayed at home. We were there for 7 days and I saw the ocean a total of 4 times. Kind of a bummer.

On top of that I didn't get to do any of my regular shopping. CVSing, WAGsing, etc. are what I do on Sundays for some ME time and I didn't get to do...
