Big Lots--eeeuuuuw.

So I went to Big Lots, without my son. While looking around, regrettably I realized that I had to pee. I've been in Big Lots' bathrooms before. But I had to go.
So I go. My MO for public restrooms is hover, pee and then kick to flush. So I hovered. I peed. I turned around to toss the tp into the toilet and kick to flush. Then I saw the sign.
There was a handwritten sign, in both English and Spanish, that said "please do not flush used tissue. It will clog toilet. Please puy in waste can."
I looked down to see.....yes folks......a trash can filled with used tp. If I hadn't been so grossed out, I would have gotten out my phone to take a picture. I have posted this story on another board, and apparently this is a common practice in many other countries, and I don't mean struggling countries--Europe too. I've been to Europe and have never seen this.
My new personal rule is to make sure I never have to pee while I'm in Big Lots.

| |  I have been in a Big Lots bathrrom before... and I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if you would have fallen in becasuse the toilet seat is broken or something. |
