Hi everyone.
I would like to share my story of the BJs at Noblewood Plaza in Woodbridge, VA. I shop at this store every other week basically because I can use both manufacturer and in store coupons. Well, for whatever reason this store does not train the cashiers that you are allowed to use one manufacturers coupon for every barcode in the package. I am used to it now and all that has to be done is the manager is called over and they tell them to ring it up. Well today I went to the store and I had 8 Manufacturer Coupons for pediasure shakes. There are 16 bottles in the box and the total price is $22.99. I wen with the policy in hand ready to show the cashier and manager the way it works. Well today I got to meet the General Manager and he informed me that I was gang couponing and the I can't use more than for coupons. He would let me use 4 of them, though. I asked if I could see it in writing where it said that. he informed me that I don't get to see the policy. I told he that he wasn't making sense and why can't I see the policy. He told me he can't just show it to anybody. I informed him that I would be contacting the Corporate headquarters about it.
Well I did and they read the policy to me on coupons. I told the gentlemen on the phone that I had that policy printed out and with me in the store. He told me he wasn't sure why the store wasn't honoring the coupons. So he told me he would do a report of the incident and the regional manager will be contacting me within 3 business days to find out what happened and tried to fix the issue.
I will let you all know what happens...

The best part is none of them were cut the same. Cuz I let my daughter cut them and she doesn't exactly cut straight.
What I will neverunderstand, is they get reimbursed by the manufacturer, so what difference does it make???
I can understand if the coupon states "no more than 4 in one transaction" as we've seen on P&G and now Unilever too - that what wasn't the case on the Pediasure I'm sure, right?
Control freaks, that's all they are, control freaks who need to feel the power of their position or something![]()
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??

This guy was just an a$$. I will just be satisfied when the investigation into the stores practices is complete and then I can decide if I want to continue shoping there.
Most PedaiSure coupons I've seen say "One per transaction" though.

Yep that is what all of mine state. You really have to read the fine print on coupons.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
Ahhh, now that makes it a horse of a different color - except the guy wasn't concerned about that apparently.
I would feel "lucky" then if I had not been aware of the fine print and was able to use 4!
But his approach was not about the fine print at all, which still leaves the problem of his controlling the number used in that situation. My guess is he would have still played that game if the coupon used wasn't restricted in any way.![]()

That's horrible! I cant believe you were treated like that!
Where did you get the coupon policy? Did you get it on here?
