    HELP Nestle Toll House Morsels

My BJ's is 30 miles away, and I have a Costco in the opposite direction too so I only make it to these stores once a month, if that if I am lucky.

For the life of me I can't remember how much the big bag of Nestle Toll House Morsels costs.
Have you seen the price of these going up in the stores? I remember getting $.75/1 coupons a few years ago and being able to get bags of chips for less than $1 a bag...now I am lucky if I can get them for less than $2.25 a bag! OUCH! I had to buy a bag of store brand for $1.87 yesterday because paying $2.99 (they were not on sale) is just out of the question but I was out. Coupons are few and far between too.

Does anyone know how much they cost and the size of the bag? I can get them on line for $.17 an ounce (72 oz bag) which equals $2.04 a 12 oz bag-that is a pretty decent price.

Walmart has Hershey ones for $1.88 a bag (11-12 oz) which works out to be $.157 an ounce for the chocolate (12 oz) bag...I also didn't realize they had so many flavors. I guess my normal grocery store only stocks the chocolate. Bye bye Nestle, your insane prices just chased me away!
BTW Walmarts price for Tollhouse was almost $3 too...

To almost answer my own question...
I went to Costco today and they had the 72 oz bag of chips for $8.69 a bag...that is $.11 an ounce-which is a great price, the best I have seen so far. BJ's is usually pretty close in price though I did go ahead and get 2 bags since I am not sure I will get to BJ's soon.
