This is kind of an odd question. One time some months ago, I mistakenly used a bj's coupon for regular bounty paper towels on my purchase of Bounty Basic paper towels.


As the cashier was scanning in the q's, I said to her, "oops! i didn't get the regular ones, but the basic" and she said that was ok, that they accept q's for this regardless of which type.


does anyone know if she was correct? since then i have been afraid to use a q for anything other than what is on the q. so if it was a q for charmin soft, i wouldn't use it on charmin strong. kwim?


i don't know, i felt like i did something wrong even though she insisted. lol
have you heard or read something similar?
