Re: BJ's Coupon Policy (taken from their website) I need some advise on whether or not I should pursue a coupon issue with my local BJs.
A Progresso soup six-pack in my store is $9.
There is a BJs coupon for $2.50 off. I also have numerous IPs that look like this: (2) save $1/3, (2) save $1/2, and (2) save $2/4.
I e-mailed BJs before I went to the store to find out if I could use the BJs Q with one of my $2/4 and one of my $1/2 (totaling 3 coupons altogether). According to the e-mail I received I am allowed to use as many ManQs as there are items in the pack. I can also combine a BJs Q with a ManQ. But the e-mail was vague as to whether I could do what I wanted to do. So, armed with this knowledge I went to the store to ask the manager if I could do this (because I didn't want the store to think I was trying to get away with something). I told him that whatever his decision was I would abide by it, but possibly look into it further.
And this is what he told me: I can combine a BJs Q with ManQs as long as the item total does not go over the item count in the pack, BUT he counts the BJs Q as one item. Soooo... I could only use the BJs and the $2/4 because the $1/2 would end up totaling 7 items. -OR- I could just use two of the ManQs ($1/2 and $2/4) which totals six items.
It still works out as a good deal (w/ the BJs Q), but I want to know if this is in keeping with BJs coupons policy? It seems contradictory to say "Yes you can use as many ManQs as items" and "Yes you can use BJs coupons with ManQs", but you can't do both together. But maybe I am just not getting it.
Hopefully this is not too confusing and someone can offer up some good advise. |
