    Deal Everyday Frees/cheaps with coupon

Please post here if you find items that are free or really cheap with the coupons that are out, on their regular price items- no sale required!!!

I'll keep this updated for quick reference!!

Yesterday I saw the little 4 ct package of 4C drink sticks.. Regular retail is .99. There's a 1.00/1 coupon that expires on 9/30/06 that does NOT exclude the 4 ct package, so hurry hurry hurry before it expires. (There is another 1.00/1 coupon but that one DOES specify that it excludes these!)

Every time I go in to Big Y, I always check the produce dept. They have a "No Goofs" guarantee that if you find a moldy berry, bad apple, spotted tomato, or wilted lettuce, they will give you a rewards coin.

90% of the time I am able to find at least one of these bad items - usually organic apples will go bad really quickly. So, 90% of the time I get a silver coin, which I use at the butcher shop. I ask them to wrap up either 1/4 lb of the tenderloin steak (usually $8 lb) so its a $2 package, and the coin gives $2 off - so I get free steak. If they don't have the steak, I'll ask for 1/4 lb of the ground sirloin, usually about $1 worth, and the coin give $1 off.

Small packages mean big savings when you apply the same amount off!

I found a moldy strawberry and the customer service rep told me to take another (good - not moldy container). She bagged it without ringing it up. I expected to get a coin (this was my first time at the Big Y) and instead I got a package of $8.99 strawberries. Not bad!

Hi, I'm Connie and I am new to this site. I only shop at big y occasionally and I am wondering what you like to use your silver coin for. I have no trouble with the other coins but for some reason, the silver isn't having anything I feel is a good deal for me. What do you use?

I usually use my silver coins(the only ones I seem to get) on pizza slices. Just last week I got the equivlent of a whole pizza with an assortment of different toppings for under $10.50 by using 8 silver coins. It worked out great my 4yo son was able to have his pepperoni, while my husband I had a choice of different toppings. You are limited to what they baked for sale by the slice.

i get either the pizza dough or the pizza crust, both are on discount with a silver coin (i forget how much, i think $1 off so they end up being around $2 each) or i get a pineapple, which works out to 2.98 with the coin.

If I can't get milk any cheaper that week, I use my silver coins for the milk. Usually it's been half gallons of Hood but lately i've seen Gallons of I believe their brand. Since we don't get coupons on milk here in MA, it's one way to get cheaper milk.

I think that Wacky Mac is normally priced at $1.59. There is frequently a $.75 printable so doubled the final price is $.09
