I have been getting some good deals on markdowns at Big Y.

I got 2 packages of Chicken and Feta Sausage for a $1 each, 1lb Sliced Ham for $2 in the Meat Deptartment this week. I am always looking for those orange stickers!

I frequently get cheap salad bags. I think the Olivia's Organics are usually in the best shape. The personal size get marked down to a $1-$1.25. There are often $1 printables available. I got Northeast Fresh brand (big pkg for $2) last week. They had more yucky pieces, but still quite of bit was fine!

I got Tribe Organics Hummus on Special, marked down to $2 and had a $2 coupon (PDF) about 2 weeks ago.

I saw Edwards Pie Singles are clearanced to $1.25. Not sure if there are coupons right now for them. There are a number of frozen dinners clearanced at my store right now.

I find the most markdowns on meat and produce on Wednesday nights.

The actual "clearance" shelf in my store is a joke to me. The prices are so high for damaged packages. A smooshed box of tissues $2.25! A dented can of Big Y vegetables $.60! No way!!!

What??? I can't believe it. There are not alot of grocery stores in that area. Stop & Shop is the only close competition. I am really surprised.

But the link says store is closing 5/28 -close out sale. 50% off your entire purchase minus cigarettes, lottery, stamps etc.

So going tomorrow!

I'm super new to the couponing world and I am soooo proud of the clearance deal i found! I saw Finish Quantumatic kits on clearance at Big Y for $5.24 (reg retail $11+), I had several coupons for $3/1. Paid $2.24/1 and they work great!!!

LOVE IT!!!! I was lucky enough to find them for $1.00 @ Walmart last week and happened to have (4) $1 off coupons. So, I got 4 free and paid $1 for 5 or 6 more. I went to BigY today and looked on the clearance rack :( , none were there.
