Big-Y ~ Question: $5 off $20 purchase (1/8-1/14)

I was just looking at the new Big Y flyer and they are doing a promo where you buy $20 worth of specific products and get $5 off. I was wondering if anyone knows if this goes by sale price or shelf price. Also, does anyone know if it is before or after coupons?

I've never seen a deal like this at Big y before. If I test it out I will report back to let everyone else know what is/isn't working.
