Do any of our Big Y experts want to tell me if your stores don't take IPs any longer? I know they stopped doubling a while back but I was told for the first time today, no more IPs either. And I called the store to talk to someone else and she confirmed it ( I also called to complain about the cashier's crappy attitude but that's a different story.)
I just am wondering if it's a corporate change or a store by store thing. I'm so sad! I love my IPs!!
I'm in CT and my store took them yesterday. I hope that's not going to happen to me here. I also love using the IP's. I just got turned away at WM and they have always taken them from me. I feel your pain ! :( Cathey
Oh yeah, i'm pretty much done with them. I wonder if this is just an overzealous store manager? But the double coupon thing was the first straw, their lousy customer service is the second and if they won't take my IPs well I'll be done.
Well I'll still go there when it's buy1 get 2 free sometimes -which is pretty much the only thing that gets me in there. lol
Maybe I'll call Big Y's headquarters and ask about this if I get bored later.
At my store in CT my mom and I went in for the 8-8-08 sale. Some higher up manager (not the store manager, like a DM or corporate person or something) in a suit jumped on a register because it was PACKED. She wouldn't take our IP coupons and said Big Y no longer accepts them. We made her take back the items we were using them on.... :(
