What Big Y/ or Big Y's do you shop at?

i agree Big Y is expensive, I only go in there when they have B1G1 or B1G2 sales going on... but then i will usually only shop the sales at grocery stores anyway and get all my paper prods/soda/etc. at Costco! I usually hit the Enfield store. This week they have Heluva good cheese B1G1, two bricks of cheese for 3.79 doesn't sound too bad to me!

I hear a lot of folks saying Big Y is expensive and I have to agree. I shop at the Bethel, CT store and sometimes at the New Milford store. I do most of my shopping elsewhere. Even with the buy one get one, Big Y is often much more than the others. Last week I drove there to get the buy one get one on the apples. The apples were 4.99 a bag. I get the same ones for 1.99 and cheaper when there is a sale. But this week, I got the eggs. .99 a dozen is a good price in my book. I checked around and couldn't find them cheaper. I have to say, they have a great prepared food section. But then again, that is expensive too. I do like when they have buy one get two. Usually there are a few bargains then. I only wish that they would tell you what the price of one item was when they run these sales.
