coins for frequent flyer miles

Has anyone ever redeemed their coins for flier miles? I have gotten 2 silver every time I have gone in the past month. That plus the ones I had before puts me over the 50 silver mark and I was thinking this might be a good way to use them, Thanks,

It is a great way to use them, but redeem them quickly. American Airlines ends April 7th,and the program ends sometime in May. I don't know when off the top of my head though.

Also, you get 25 miles per silver coin and it takes up to 12 weeks to be credited to your mileage account.

You would need about 1400 silver coins for a plane ticket. I think tickets (are 30k or 35k for the cheapest worse mile deal) C
