The fine print is really hard to read, even on the printout, but I'm pretty sure it says "excludes previous transactions". As far as return/rebuy - you have to do what you're comfortable with.

I would say return, and re-buy. I work for Big Lots, have for 12 years, and I don't think they'd give you a problem. I know they wouldn't do it just with the receipt and coupon though. You'd have to take the item back in.
