Default do senior citizens have to choose between doubles or their discount?

I have a neighbor and she said that she gets a senior citizen discount, but if she takes it, then she can not double coupons.

    Is this correct for Bi-Lo?

Also, she shops at both Bi-Lo and ......, so I'll have to ask the same question in the other forum.

No, you don't have to choose. You don't get the senior discount on sale prices but you can still double your coupons. Don't ask me how I know.
IVDSO: $1/1 or $1/2 coke peelies (good on 12 packs), WT's good in NC or SC for groceries, meat, cheese, bread, etc. and NBPR rebates valid in NC. H) Lots of insert coupons. I get multiples every week so let me know what you need!

So if an item is on sale for $3.00 and she buys 1 of them, and she has a coupon .50/1 then:
    1. what does she pay for the item? ($2.50 ?)
    2. and what senior discount does she get on her purchase? ( ? )

If the item is on sale for $3.00 and she has a $0.50/1 coupon. She'd pay $2.00 for the product. If it was on Wednesday and she used her senior discount bonus card they'd take 05% off also.

Note: I'm pretty sure it's on Wednesdays and it's a 30% discount. If I'm wrong about that, please let me know.

I do not know. She just said she can not double her coupons and get the senior discount on Wednesday. She has to pick one or the other.

Alright, corporate says it's a store level decision to double or allow coupons at all with the senior discount.

The discount is applied on Wednesdays and is 5%.

Bottom line, YMMV. Call your store.
