Last week was kind of a bummer for me. Hopefully some good deals will show up this week!

I had a good one until a technical issue came up.
My store has packages of Springer Mountain chicken, $5.99 per pound and the price of each pack is based on the weight. These are not B1G1 free.
But, they have taken two of the individual packs, and wrapped them into one pack and selling those at B1G1 free.
I had two $1.50/1 and could not use them on the B1G1 free sale.
No sense using them on the indivdual packs because $5.99 a pound for chicken in very high and they have alot better deals on chicken than that, week in, and week out.
I asked CS if I could use two coupons since there were two packs wrapped together with two different UPC codes, and they said no.

True, but I saw two individual packs, priced around $9.30 but those were not B1G1 free.
Then I saw a double pack that had been wrapped in plastic wrap to keep the two individual packs together, at almost the exact same price.
The manufacturer did not double them up, Bi-Lo did with plastic wrap.
I remember them having this same item, doubled up before.
A two pack sitting right beside two individual packs, and the individuals were not B1G1 free but the double was.

yes, that is true.
bad luck I guess.
Scenario:
They have 30 individual packages of the chicken at 5.99 per pound.
a. They can put all 30 in the meat section and sell for B1G1 free.
b. Or with those 30 packages, they can sell 10 individual packs at the regular price. And sell 10 bundled packages for the price of one package.
They chose (b) for some unknown reason = dead coupon
Sad to say, but they have to do it this way. The store I work at does this also and here's why....any fresh meat item that is sold per lb has to be packaged together for a b1g1 sale b/c the prices of each pack are not going to be the same. Like, if you were were buying cheezits and they were BOGO, they would both be the same exact price...but not the meat. A customer could argue "which pack of meat am I buying and which pack am I getting for free?" one pack could be $5.29 and the other could be $6.32.
So yeah, I wish you could use two coupons on those that would be great.
