Bi-lo told husband they dont carry Angus beef brand

I sent hubby to the store today and asked him to get some Certified Angus Beef and use the 3.00 off coupon that is in the new Gold Star booklet. They said they dont have that kind of meat. I am confused. Why put out a coupon in a new booklet and then not carry that product. I am still pretty new to this so maybe I am missing something.

It was my understanding that all the stores had switched over the the Gold Star branding. Maybe when your husband referred to it as certified Angus instead of gold star certified Angus the employee didn't realize it's the same thing.

I would ask again, referring to it as Gold Star, just in case that was the problem.

I think that is it b/c when I did some research on it they are just calling it something different. The Gold Star still has the certified angus logo. I am going to go tomorrow and try again. It was the manager and the butcher who told him they dont have it. Funny. Anwyay, I believe it was a misunderstanding.
