Bounty Basic PT cpn will not double. Update

I have an update. I completed the satisfaction survey at the bottom of my reciept the other day. Well I got a call from the assistant manager. He apoligized and wanted to know what they could do to make things right. I told him that they could make sure everyone was aware of the coupon policy, escpecially someone with keys. He said that everyone was learning the new coupon policy, He also said that the district managers were being really hard on coupons.

Bi-Lo made things right!
Just wanted to update.

I was just in Bi-Lo tonight. I was going to pick up 4 of the bogo Bounty Basic paper towels. I had 4 of the .25cents off coupons from the P&G. The coupons beeped. The cashier called a person over with keys to make the couons go through. Well they did not double. I asked why they didn't double and he said because sometimes manf. would not let there coupons double. I said that it didn't state that on the coupon, and the coupon started with a 5. So, it should have doubled. He then said that if it doubled it would have been more than the pt cost. The price of the pt was .65 cents; so the price I would have paid would have been .15 cents each.

I just had him void the pt off. I know it may sound silly over a dollar, but this has happened too many times.
Has this happened to anyone else?

That is strange. Maybe the register had some kind of hiccup or something.

I had the same problem at my store. Had 4 coupons...1st scanned, 2nd beeps, lady with the keys came over and fixed it and all doubled. She told me that if they override, the coupons will not double if scanned so she had to manually entered the amounts.
