hmmm, to me that would imply per transaction because each item is a purchase...
Possibly try a different cashier.
has anyone else tried to use more than one of the coke reward free 12 pack coupons?
the coupon says one per purchase.
That cleary is not there, to imply that someone would try to get two 12 packs for free.
So, with that being true, the clerk read it to mean that I could only use 1 free coupon per visit.
Is Bi-Lo correct here to only accept one coupon per visit?

I accepted their decision, but I am not clear they were right.
So, if they are right then:
1. Coke Rewards only wants one of their free coupons used per transaction. And the question would be why do they care?
2. Bi-Lo only wanted one Coke Reward coupon used per purchase, because of the wording on the coupon. The cashier said the 2nd one would not scan. Not true. I've used 3 at one time before. If the store is not losing any money, whatsoever, I'm not sure why they limited me to one free coupon. Would things have been any different if it was a coupon for a free bottle of mustard and I had two of them?
One per purchase means buy one Coke Product, use one coupon.
According to BiLo's coupon policy you should have been able to use both your coupons if you bought two 12 packs.
For future reference:
One per transaction = One coupon per check out.
One per purchase = One coupon per item.
