BI-LO ~ Question: Has Bi-Lo been sold?

My ex father in law is a realtor and he was telling my that he had a house for sale for a Bi-Lo employee that was expecting a layoff because Bi-Lo had been sold?

Has anyone heard this?

I read that after I posted that.... but my FIL said it was bought by Food Giant, wonder if he meant Giant Foods? That is a more northern based company isn't it? The article states that Publix and Kroger are interested- I would be happy with either (luv Publix) since they double, LOL.

We need Publix and Target in my area!!!!! Come on Publix !!!
