BI-LO ~ Question: when did Bi-Lo start having limits on sale items? I just noticed and had to send 80% of my order back for a refund.

I never knew Bi-Lo had limits on sale items.
I went to the register with 10 cartons of Fla. Natural O.J.
only to find out there was a limit of 2. I guess that is why the shelves were packed full.

That is getting down there with the likes of Food Lion limits and VIC special limits.

Is Bi-Lo going to start implementing more and more limits on sale items?

If there's a limit on sales items, it will usually say so in the ad or on the shelf tag.

The ad I have clearly states "limit 2" on that deal.

ETA - they rarely do that. I've noticed it a few times. The cheap sugar (month or so ago) was limit 2

the only limit i've seen was the sugar.....but i haven't been to BL in a while.....just me? or have the ads sucked? no sale items match the current coupons......

I'm finding less food coupons in the inserts and less matchups at all our "5" food chains.

I was shocked that Bi-Lo had a limit on an item they have had on sale before at 2 for $4.
The same item for $1.98 did not seem like a big deal, only 2 cents less than a sale that has occurred before.

I think Bi-Lo has the best ads of any store we have. Hopefully, they are not going to start having limits like Food Lion.

All we have is Bi-lo, Food Lion, Ingles (which I do not step foot in - haven't in a year and a half), GO Grocery (they don't accept Q's) and a mom & pop grocer. I'm finding I'm using less and less and less Q's these days and throwing out TONS of Q's end-of-month. Sucks! Now I just look @ what meat is on sale and plan my meals around that. Miss the good 'ole days of awesome deals. I mostly make $ back by doing MIR's (which I have to trade for because our area never has them). If they start imposing limits on top of not-so-hot ads, I just dunno what I'll do. Grrrrr!

I've noticed this too. In one way, I'm happy that everyone (myself included) can get one or two items at the sale price and not find the shelves wiped out. On the other hand, if I want to stock up, I can't.
