QUESTION are fuel perks good at Shell and Sunoco or only BP?

The Bi-Lo website shows Sunoco, Shell, and BP, but when I click on "find locations" all I get for my city is BP. Their prices are more than 5 cents higher than other stations so the fuel perks I have that expire the end of June, are rather worthless to me.

I think we have Shell and Sunoco.
Has anyone used your fuel perks at those stores?

I'd not like to go in there and tell them that the Bi-Lo website says they accept the program and they tell me they do not. Not looking for confrontations or having to drive all over town to save 5 cents a gallon when the stations we have that are Asian owned have the lowest prices. Maybe fuel perks just won't work for me since my total dollars spent at Bi-Lo are so low, with the use of coupons and also shopping at Harriss Teeter, Lowes or where ever the deals are. I'm about half way to another 5 cents off but I'll never make it by June 30th where 10 cents off a gallon will save at BP.

They are good at the gas station that Bi-Lo has gotten a contract with. Not just any. So what it shows in your area, BP is the only place it is good at. That being said, if you have 10 cents or more in fuel perks, and they are only 5 cents more, then you are still getting cheaper gas.

the Bi-Lo website says Shell, BP, and Sunoco.
We have an Entergy for $2.40 a gallon and BP is at $2.45 so the .05 per gallon I have to use by June 30th won't help me. I don't shop enough.

I'm going to try Shell or Sunoco and print what I see on the Bi-Lo website about which stations take it.

Well, you can take it, but if they aren't participating and have a contract, they can't do anything. When something says "at participating" that's what it means, not "any". All I see on the website are the symbols, and it say to "find out where you can redeem your fuel perks".

We only have one station in our area that fuelperks can be used at - think it's a Texaco station. It is sooooo far away that I don't bother to use them until we go see my parents in SC. In SC we use them @ Spinx gas stations. (Filled up our 25 gallon truck for $30.58 weekend before last!!! Woot!)...... I wouldn't give BP business these days even if I was getting the gas for free though. Ack!

we have a shell at $2.46 a gallon and a Sunoco at $2.43 a gallon but the Asian stations are surely $2.40.
I can not accumulate more than .05 per gallon due to my spending habits and if the only ones in my city that take it is BP, then I won't be able to use them.
Driving too far to save 1-2 cents at Sunoco for 15 gallons is 15-30 cents.
Nice program for big grocery shoppers if you want to pay BP an extra 5 cents a gallon to get another 5 cents a gallon off. They are the highest prices in town.

And you're in NC? What part of NC? Those gas prices are almost as low (if you can call gas "low" these days) as SC. In my area (Western NC), gas is $2.69-$2.79. I was @ the Outerbanks last week and it was $2.95-$3.05. Ack!!!

Well, you can look at it like I do Lowe's Foods fuel program. I don't shop there for the fuel discount. I can never get more than $.05, because they only give you credit for what you spend OOP, not prior to coupons, and you have to spend $100 for a nickle. I never accumalate more than $.05, and never use it, because I have to drive farther, and use more gas than what I can save. I still shop there when they have great sales. If the Lowe's I shopped at had the gas station, I may be willing to try to use the nickle, but not worth it. I don't complain though, because I know they are still offering something they don't have to.

At least at Bi-Lo, they give you credit after your Bonus Card, but the amount prior to coupons, and it's $50 spent per nickle. If you can take advantage of it, great, but don't fret and complain if you don't. Shop there for the bargains, and be happy with those.

I never knew Lowes had fuel perks. I thought they had some program whereby you buy certain items and get $1 rewards and when you get $5 you get $5 off your next order.

Do Lowes Fuel Perks expire?
They do at Bi-Lo. I was almost to 10 cents off and the clerk mentioned that the 5 cents I had, expired June 30th. That's when I searched around and realized I can not use them.

I'm in S.C. and we have two Asian owned stations that were $2.40 the last time I past there. And don't be fooled by the stations near the state line on I-77. They know people from N.C. like to drive down just across the line to save on gas. Gas is about a nickel lower per gallon if you go another 6-7 miles down to Rock Hill and go to Anderson Road.
