| Re: are fuel perks good at Shell and Sunoco or only BP? They are good at the gas station that Bi-Lo has gotten a contract with. Not just any. So what it shows in your area, BP is the only place it is good at. That being said, if you have 10 cents or more in fuel perks, and they are only 5 cents more, then you are still getting cheaper gas.

| Re: are fuel perks good at Shell and Sunoco or only BP? Well, you can take it, but if they aren't participating and have a contract, they can't do anything. When something says "at participating" that's what it means, not "any". All I see on the website are the symbols, and it say to "find out where you can redeem your fuel perks".

I can not accumulate more than .05 per gallon due to my spending habits and if the only ones in my city that take it is BP, then I won't be able to use them.
Driving too far to save 1-2 cents at Sunoco for 15 gallons is 15-30 cents.
Nice program for big grocery shoppers if you want to pay BP an extra 5 cents a gallon to get another 5 cents a gallon off. They are the highest prices in town. | And you're in NC? What part of NC? Those gas prices are almost as low (if you can call gas "low" these days) as SC. In my area (Western NC), gas is $2.69-$2.79. I was @ the Outerbanks last week and it was $2.95-$3.05. Ack!!!

| Re: are fuel perks good at Shell and Sunoco or only BP? Well, you can look at it like I do Lowe's Foods fuel program. I don't shop there for the fuel discount. I can never get more than $.05, because they only give you credit for what you spend OOP, not prior to coupons, and you have to spend $100 for a nickle. I never accumalate more than $.05, and never use it, because I have to drive farther, and use more gas than what I can save. I still shop there when they have great sales. If the Lowe's I shopped at had the gas station, I may be willing to try to use the nickle, but not worth it. I don't complain though, because I know they are still offering something they don't have to.
At least at Bi-Lo, they give you credit after your Bonus Card, but the amount prior to coupons, and it's $50 spent per nickle. If you can take advantage of it, great, but don't fret and complain if you don't. Shop there for the bargains, and be happy with those.

I thought they had some program whereby you buy certain items and get $1 rewards and when you get $5 you get $5 off your next order.
Do Lowes Fuel Perks expire?
They do at Bi-Lo. I was almost to 10 cents off and the clerk mentioned that the 5 cents I had, expired June 30th. That's when I searched around and realized I can not use them. |

And don't be fooled by the stations near the state line on I-77. They know people from N.C. like to drive down just across the line to save on gas. Gas is about a nickel lower per gallon if you go another 6-7 miles down to Rock Hill and go to Anderson Road. |
