BI-LO ~ Question: Catalinas???

Hi - I've just moved to a town that has a Bi-Lo along with a Harvey's as the two main grocery stores [along w. a Walmart], which for me coming from having access to multiple Kroger and Food Lion and Publix stores is a tripple duh.

I'm trying to get the hang on Bi-Lo - nice thing that they double to .55 here, but the prices are mostly less than great. Some of the buy a meal deals look promising. Are there any current catalina deals going on here? If so - can we start a sticky threat for these? What do I need to know for successful shopping at Bi-Lo. This morning my .25 coupons did not double [did last night though] and I got a cashier to do a manual override. Does that happen a lot???

When someone gets a catalina they post it seperately in it's own thread.
There has been very little posting lately-I know I haven't been to BiLo in several months.
As far as the $.25/1 coupon not doubling...I have had it happen to me on more than on occassion. Here they double to $.99-and I know last year I had a problem with some Kraft BBQ sauce peelies that were $.35/1-but it seems to be a random thing (assuming they start with a 5).

there are Kraft dressing cats right now...i dont know the end date but i got 2 last night. 3/$5 at my store, with the .55 Q great deal!

I was hoping the Kraft catalina was working here too - I bought 4 on Monday - and no cats printed for me...

The .25 Bounty doubled just fine on Monday too, and the cashier who did the override for me, said they doubled for her earlier in the morning the same day when they did not for me.

I better make sure the catalina machines are on the next time I go shopping. Does Bi-Lo pretty much run the same cat deals than Kroger and Food Lion or other major grocery store chains?

Bi-Lo cats run on the same schedule as Food Lion's in our area. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing what is being offered unless someone posts. At one point, you could go to Food Lion's site and actually see what the offers were. If that information is still on the FL site, I haven't been able to find it.

Are you by in chance in Statesboro. The Betty Crocker Fruit Rollup/gusher cat is running in Bi-Lo. I am asking b/c it sounds like you are describing my town.

Vidalia actually, and all there is is a Bi-Lo, a Harveys and a Walmart. Pretty much a tripple duh for me, LOL - but at least Bi-Lo doubles to .55. I do have to say they seem to be very coupon friendly as far as the cashiers are concerned [so far anyway].

Well that is SE Ga for you. We have the same stores and the closest Kroger, Publix, and FL are all in Savannah or Rincon. My Bi-lo does .60c though. Harvey's ads are similar to FL and they do double at least

Wait a minute - are you saying your Harvey's doubles coupons? Or did you mean Bi-Lo? I shopped at the Harvey's in Reidsville and they do not double coupons. I've only been once in the one here in Vidalia, and only went because I had some of the $3 Pork coupons I traded for, along with one of the >$5 off any shopping< from Harveys, so I didn't use regular coupons to see if they would double.

If you indeed meant that your Harveys doubles as well - how much? .50 or higher??? The one in Reidsville will not even take Foodlion coupons on Foodlion products, I haven't yet asked if the one here in Vidalia does.

On good sales weeks @ FoodLion, Kroger or Publix, I will go to Savannah and hit all the stores at the same trip, as this is a 150+ miles roundtrip for me. I might loose an entire day to that, but if this takes care of most of the shopping for a week or two or helps maintain my stockpile, I'm prepared to do so.

My harvey's double to .50 but send an email to the corporate office b/c I do believe that there are 3 stores that do not double. I will pm you the letter that I got.
