BI-LO ~ Vent My Bi-Lo trip blew up in my face...

I havent been to bi-lo in a few months as our stockpile was overflowing during the holidays... so It has probably been since Nov since I went.

while checking out.. my total seemed higher than I thought it would be.

checked the receipt and a lot of coupons didnt double...

after checking with the manager.. I was advised that a few months back, they are now only doubling the FIRST 10 coupons period.

Is this at all stores?

That does not sound right... I went Monday night and doubled 50+ coupons! Sure hope that's not something that's coming..

It is a limit of 10 LIKE coupons per order.

I shop at the store where my son has worked for 3 years and everyone knows me and I rarely have trouble. I guess when he graduates from college and gets a real job it's all over.

Yea... I am going to go back during the day, maybe the night mngr. just made an error call...

I was thinking The FuelPerks card might cap it or something.
probably just end up writing this bunch off and be safe and only checkout with 10 items at a time.

Someone doesn't know their own coupon policies. Bi-Lo will double 10 "like" coupons per day with no limit to the total number of coupons per order. The only time I have had a problem with scads of coupons was when Super Triples was in effect two years ago and I locked down the register

I would call corporate and very nicely complain. Someone at your store needs to be educated about their policies. If that is the store's individual policy, I would hope that you have another Bi-Lo close at which you could shop. Another poster on the board had a similar situation recently and when she called corporate, not only did the situation get rectified at her store, she also received a gift card as compensation. Hope you get things cleared up.

If your items were the buy one get one that may have been the problem too. I t seems that those items act up for no apparent reason. My store allows me do my coupons before the bonus card when ever they have a lot of buy ones get ones

I went Sunday and used a bunch of coupons. Had no problems doubling them all. I hate it when shopping trips turn into nightmares.

I had all of mine double this morning, and I had more than 10. The only problem I had was that they wouldn't accept the Chef Micheal's coupons because the dog food was $1.99 and the coupon was for $2.

yes, 10 like coupons....start dialing corp......it's just sad when people don't know their own store's policies. i have printed copies i take with me just in case something like this happens.
