BI-LO ~ Freebie: Mentos Gum-Free

Was at BiLo in Lex. SC today. The Mentos Gum at the registers was tagged for .99 cents. Didn't look close enough at the date for when it ends.

There are .55/1 Q's out expiring 11/30; 12/31 and 1/31. Makes the gum free with possible overage.

No go at my bi-lo! Coupon is a DND (5) and they check every coupon!

Ahh, didn't see that on the coupon. Guess I'll try it with 1 and see what happens.

They probably will check it here as when I did this a few months ago the cashier was not to happy when I didn't owe anything.

Woohoo! Glad to see it back on sale! I've got 26 of those coupons....... To the ones that the cashiers check, go through Uscan. ;-)

Welllllll, I grabbed 10 yesterday and one of the managers (she is WEIRD!!!!!! Loves to swoop down on couponers. Ugh!) came to the register and told the cashier "if any of the coupons say DND be sure to punch *insert code #* so it doesn't double". I told him "I don't think any of my Qs say DND" and she says "those Mento coupons do". I told her she can put them all back then and that I don't understand her statement as Bilo pays for the doubled part of the coupon. She had nothing to say to that and DSO was telling me "just hush Terri. You know how she is". Poor cashier guy was shaking badly while ringing up my other Qs. I guess he was worried he would mess up and I'd be on his tail. Haha! So, beware, YMMV with these.

We have Uscan but she saw me as I was getting the Mentos. She also watches Uscan like a hawk. Its almost like she appears out of nowhere! Same lady that scolded me because she didn't understand why I was doing multiple uscan transactions when the Kraft mac n cheese catalina was going on (it was NOT busy that day). Had to tell her 1,352,678 times "if I buy 3 boxes a catalina prints to use on the next 3". She FINALLY got it. Lawdy! Got a few more items to get today after I get my hair "did". Hopefully she's off today. ;-)

i'll cross my fingers for you!! i have one more trip i need to make too, need to stock up on some kelloggs cereal (like we need more, lol) and found some more mentos q's!
