BI-LO ~ Vent: BI-LO - rainchecks "expire in 30 days"

The store nearest where I am staying now writes on the rainchecks "expires in 30 days" - this is the first store I've run across that does that.... (I've gotten RC 2x now from this store, the first time they wrote it on a photocopy of the RC form that already had that written, tonight the guy had a RC pad and wrote it across the top.)

is there a corporate policy on this (if I call corporate will they call the store and straighten them out?) or is it up to each individual store to decide whether they want to have them expire??

other Bi-Los in the area do not write this on the rainchecks :shrug7:

TOtal bummer if that is the case. I went yesterday and the guy didn't write that on mine. Seems to me if they wanted them to expire in 30 days then they would have put a DATE line on the RC...

Ours here in Charleston (Sam Rittenburg) does this as well. They even highlight where they hand right in "expires in 30 days". This store also does not accept IPs. Beats me why, when the store 15 minutes away has no problem with IPs or rainchecks. Guess you know which store I frequent.

I just got a raincheck at my BiLo the other day and they said one year???

Here is a reply between myself and a Bi-Lo Customer Representative pertaining to the RC limit. I had the same issue. Also, they can not put a limit on them unless there is a limit stated on the sales ad.

Do Bi-Lo rainchecks expire within a certain length. Also, thank you for the promptness of your reply and the attachment.
