DD3 Hot Peter Pan Peanut Butter Deal

I received news from another site that the Peter Pan peanut butter catalina (Buy 15 get 5 OYNO) is based on the regular prices. Here in Cleveland, TN, the peanut butter is BOGOF @ 2.70 making them 1.35 each. I bought a total of 6 @ 1.35 each making them 8.10/6. The computer sees this as 6 @ 2.70 the way that Bi-Lo's registers ring the BOGOF items. I used three .50/2 coupons that double making it 5.10/6. I recycled a $5.00 OYNO catalina from the same deal and paid .10 for 6 jars of peanut butter. It then generated another $5.00 OYNO that I intend to recycle into the same deal. Hope this helps someone. Be very careful with this one as I know other areas have different prices for the peanut butter. Your pre-sale prices have to equal or exceed $15.00 in order for it to work.

Dead deal as the PB is no longer BOGOF this week.

How long does PB keep? I have 10 jars at the moment but certainly could get a few more just because

Most jars are dated on the top, side or bottom of the jar now. I don't know how long it is good after the expired date. Peter pan is on the side of the jar around the top.

Peanut Butter is something most/all food banks definately want...I stopped paying attention to expiration dates a while ago. Unless it is dairy or meat (which I freeze anyway) then I really don't worry. Plus a lot of them says "Freshness date" or "Best Buy" which I don't see as expiration.

The 2 Jars I have (Simply Jiff that I got last year) say months in the summer of 2010. Funny thing is I have a Smuckers that says 2008....first I noticed that...Tasted fine last time I had it.

The ConAgra deal is good until 8/18-if someone goes today can you see if the sale is good until then too?

My pb doesn't expire until way into 2010. I was so grateful to find out about this deal.
